A Tail of Two Birds

This morning I was greeted by two very different birds. The first group I saw consisted of SIX buzzards sitting on the fence posts or on the ground. (Normally they roost on the phone pole but not today.) Next I walked to the pond and saw two geese swimming ever so serenely. We usually have a pair of nesting geese on the pond. I wonder if this is our usual pair and if they have returned to rear another family? Time will tell.

All things being equal, I do like geese better than the vultures.
