License plates and the ceiling of the Port Facility
We landed in Bali today.
We were first here about 30 years ago, so we did not plan a shore excursion. Turns out the island has changed in 30 years and a shorex would have been useful. It also turns out that the other DrC would not have been able to take it as he has a sore hip right now. Our room attendant found him a cane to use, and it is easing the pain when he walks...but he’s not able to do a lot of walking.

Given that, I stayed close to the ship. I took a walk in the port facility and tried to avoid all the folks trying to sell their wares.
It was 32 Celsius which is hot, and somewhat steamy. We are in the tropics and it’s the beginning of the rainy season, so that is to be expected.
Bali is flat, unlike most of the islands we have visited on this trip
