As I walked into the Crow's Nest this morning, everyone was hugging the windows looking at the herd of dolphins leaping through the water. I don't know how many there were, but they were keeping up with the ship (we travel 20 KPM) jumping in and out of the water. We all tried to take pictures, but we were 10 decks above the water and this was the best I could get from my iPhone camera. It was a little piece of wonder to start the day.
This great towel creation I named Abercrombie Smythe-Wilkins -- it just seemed to suit him well. I have no idea what type of critter he was, but Silky thought he was a pretty neat guy.
Do you know what he could be?
We have one more sea day before we reach Rarotonga. The weather changed today. From gray and not very warm, we went to gray and very warm. The water is very calm, and we are all hopeful we will be able to make landfall. It's a tender port, and we know from past experience, that this port can be iffy.
