This strange looking thing is a cape! I just finished it this morning and wore it to dinner tonight. It's a black sparkly lacy confection that attracted a lot of attention. I wish the picture would show it off better than it does. The next project is another baby blanket. I think you can guess what I do when we have a sea day!
